Rev. Betty Voigt
Betty Voigt has experienced God's healing in her own life through Gestalt Pastoral Care and has connected many others to this healing ministry. In conjunction with her own healing journey she began studying with Tilda Norberg in 1989 and then began incorporating GPC into her work as a pastor, retreat leader, and spiritual companion.
Her particular calling since 1998 has been to attend to her own communion with God through contemplative prayer. It is out of that deep place that she accompanies others on their spiritual journeys.
She completed the Certificate Program from Shalem in Spiritual Guidance and is validated by her denomination to a ministry of Spiritual Companioning and Gestalt Pastoral Care. She also directs Holy Ground Hermitage in southwestern, PA, a ministry that encourages guests to deepen their relationship with God, self, and others through silence, solitude and prayerful listening.
Betty holds an M.Div. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
